How to Upgrade to Instructor Status?

Upgrading to a Instructor requires following the steps below:

  1. Register as a regular user.
  2. Submit an application according to the following guidelines.

Required Application Materials

Text Section

Section titled “Text Section”

  1. Basic Information

    • Your name / affiliation (work institution).

  2. Purpose and Course Details

    • Your purpose for applying as an Instructor.
    • Basic information about the courses you intend to teach.

  3. To obtain the verified badge, the following documents must be provided:

    • For Language Courses:
      • High-score language certificate (e.g., CEFR C1/C2 equivalent).
    • For Professional Fields(Medicine/Finance/Law/Architecture):
      • Accredited bachelor’s degree or higher.
      • Verifiable professional licenses/certifications.

    Functional Differences Between Unverified and Verified Instructors

Video Section

Section titled “Video Section”
  1. Recording Specifications
    • Full upper body, entire arms, and hands must be visible.
  2. Verbal Statement
    • Orally state the basic information from Text Section (1).
  3. Identity Verification
    • Hold identification documents during recording.
    • Document content must be clearly visible.
    • Note: During this step, full upper body visibility is not required while moving, but hands must remain fully visible at all times.
  4. Oath Declaration(verbatim):

    “I swear that all course content I teach on Aufum is self-created, and I assume full copyright responsibility.”

Special Notices

Section titled “Special Notices”
  1. Platform’s Role
    • Aufum provides technical services only and does not participate in creating Instructor course content.
  2. Content Restrictions
    • Prohibited content:
      1. Politics/religion;
      2. Violence/pornography/gambling/terrorism/extremism and anything violating laws or basic human conscience.
    • Penalties for violations:
      • First violation: Warning.
      • Second, third, or fourth violation: 1-week account suspension.
      • Fifth violation: Permanent account deletion.
  3. Copyright Ownership
    • Course copyright belongs entirely to the Instructor.
    • Instructors bear full legal responsibility for copyright compliance of all teaching materials.
    • Aufum can use course content on its own platform and associated entities, and the author will be marked.
  4. Distribution Rules
    • To prevent copyright infringement risks:
      • All Instructors and courses are not publicly promoted.
      • Instructors may only privately invite Learners to join courses.
